Fire-rated Fabrics for Hospitality and Public Spaces
Every curtain we deliver for an ERP-classified building ships with M1, B1 or BS 5867 Type B certification — or all three, cross-certified. No compliance grey areas, no last-minute PV chases.
Why certification is non-negotiable
Hotels, restaurants, conference venues and cultural sites all fall under the ERP (Établissements Recevant du Public) framework in France — and equivalent regimes across Europe. A fire marshal who cannot find the PV d'essai on your curtains is a fire marshal who stops your opening. We treat certification as a deliverable, not an afterthought.
Three standards, one spec sheet
- M1 — French benchmark, non-flammable, valid across all ERP categories.
- B1 (DIN 4102) — German / European equivalent, required by most international hotel groups.
- BS 5867 Part 2 Type B — UK hospitality minimum; Type C for escape routes.
For large-format drops (above 1.5 m), we also provide NF EN 13772 compliance — the European standard for the real-world fire behaviour of tall vertical drapes.
